Mary Lou Womack

Mary Lou Womack, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior early on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from Ennis, Texas.

Mary was born in Laurel, Mississippi on August 18, 1927 to Oscar and Mary Alice (Prince) Boyd.  Mary grew up in Laurel and graduated from Laurel High School.  She went on to graduated from Jacksonville Seminary.  On March 22, 1947 she married John F. Womack and they made their home in Dallas then to California, Arkansas, Georgia and back to Texas.

Mary worked for Rebsamen Hospital for many years as a respiratory therapist.  Mary was a faithful member of Baylor Baptist Church in Ennis.  Mary loved her family and they were the joy of her life.

Mary is survived by sons: James A Womack and wife, Linda and Doran D. Womack and wife, Cindy; daughter, Licha Womack; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers; George and Harmon, sister, Zora, two grandchildren: Michael and Crystal Linder and one great-grandchild, Gregory Wilson.
