Mary Ann Jarrett

Mary Ann Jarrett, 79, of Albany, GA, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Gillionville Baptist Church. Rev. Tony Haefs will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Isabella, GA, born to the late, James Roe and Lola Elizabeth Cox Garrett, Mrs. Jarrett graduated from Sylvester High School in 1950. She attended Darton College and was employed with the Water, Gas and Light Department of Albany, GA for thirty seven years and retired as Director of Administrative Services. Mrs. Jarrett was a member of the Gillionville Baptist Church and the Micah Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her husband, Robert F. (Bob) Jarrett of Albany, GA three daughters, Carla Ann Beckom and her husband, Jack of Barnesville, GA, Yvonne Rudolph of Odenville, AL and Dawn Reynolds and her husband, John of Auburn, AL, her grandchildren, Allison Cohen and her husband, Tony of Atlanta, GA, Evan Turner and his wife, Melisha of Griffin, GA, Caleb Rudolph of Ft. Lee, VA, Kindle Rudolph of Odenville, AL and Jackson Reynolds of Auburn, AL, three sisters, Mable Windom of Olney, MD, Margaret Gill and her husband, George of Albany, GA and Anza Hayes and her husband, Curtis, Isabella, GA.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
