Mary Ann Walker Hobbs

Mary Ann Hobbs, 78, of Lee Co., GA, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Colquitt Regional Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Hagadorn will officiate.

Mrs. Hobbs was born in Albany, GA and was a life-long resident until moving to Lee Co., GA. She was employed with Gibson Discount Store and Miller Discount Store until their closing and Service America and Warehouse Foods. She was of the Christian faith and was preceded in death by her parents, William Gordon Walker and Margie Hester Walker, her husband, Richard Dix Hobbs and brother, Billy Walker.

She enjoyed her family, her music and her beloved cat (Callie).

Survivors include her children, a son, Richard Gordon Hobbs and a daughter, Terrie Lynn Garlock, both of Lee Co., GA.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
