Mary "Sue" Harrell Everett

Mary “Sue” Harrell Everett, 89, of Leesburg, GA passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Willson Hospice House in Albany, GA.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 11:00 am at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Sue was born June 23, 1930 to the late Wright Woodson Harrell and Susie Bledsoe Harrell in Dodge County, GA.  She graduated from Colquitt County High School and obtained her nursing degree from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing.  She has resided in the Albany area since 1955. As a nurse she cared for many patients in the Albany area during her career. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church and Ladies of Nassah.  Sue was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Arthur Carl Everett.

Survivors include a daughter Joan Jones (Jimmy) of Athens, AL, son Tony Everett (Sandy) of Leesburg, GA, four grandchildren Michelle Simpson (Lorenzo) San Antonio, TX, Jennifer Gregg (Scott) Noblesville, IN, Andrew Everett of Augusta, GA, Jessi Hatcher (Hunter) of Albany, GA, seven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
