Mary Marie Golden

Mary Marie Golden, 79, of Albany, GA, died February 3, 2017 at Wynfield Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Pine Bluff Baptist Church. Rev. Keith Smith and Rev. Bruce Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Berrien County, GA born to the late Vernon and Mizzie Harnage, Mrs. Golden graduated from Berrien County High School. She married Leroy Golden in 1958 and they moved to Albany, GA from Valdosta, GA in 1969. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Bluff Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Leroy Golden of Albany, GA, four sons, Paul Golden and his wife, Cassandra of Albany, GA, Huey Golden and his wife, Janice of Albany, GA, Travis Golden and his wife, Stacy of Lee County, GA, and Gary Golden of Albany, GA, a brother, Ronnie Wade Harnage of Nashville, GA, eleven grandchildren, Kristy (Jeremy) Heard, Paul E. (Stacy) Golden, Jr., Scott Golden and Kayla Golden all of Lee County, GA, Maggie (Steven) Rose, Chris Golden and Lacy (Jason) Hunnewell, Alayna Golden, Annslee Golden and Allison Golden all of Albany, GA and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon (Buck) Harnage, Jr.

The family is at the residence of Huey and Janice Golden, 5619 Hill Rd., Albany, GA, 31705.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday at Mathews Funeral Home.
