Mary Julia Dupree

Mary Julia Dupree, 95, of Leesburg, GA died Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Lee County Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be Monday, December 2, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Craig Howell will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Turner County, Mrs. Dupree had lived in the Albany area since 1951. She was a homemaker and a member of Plantation Parkway Assembly of God. Mrs. Dupree was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Forest Dupree.

Survivors include her daughter, Jane Thomas (Joe) of Leesburg, GA, her son, Wayne Dupree of Sylvester, GA, three sisters, Grace Southwell of Americus, GA, Janie Burgess (Curtis) of Albany, and Josephine Box of Warner Robins, GA, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be at the residence of Jane Thomas at 194 Kinchafoonee Creek Road Leesburg, GA 31763.

The family will receive friends Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
