Mary Catherine Coleman

Mary Catherine T. Coleman, 81, of Leesburg, GA, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Calvin King will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Avera, GA Mrs. Coleman had lived in Leesburg since 1990 moving from Albany, GA. She was a retired Sales Associate at Sears Roebuck Company, a member of Thundering Springs Baptist Church and member of Sears Retiree and Golden Key Clubs. Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Coleman, her parents, Keylon Eugene Thompson, Sr. and Florie Thompson Blanchard and a brother, Wilson Blanchard.

Survivors include, three daughters, Joany Burns and husband Marvin, Tina McClure and Rhonda Way all of Leesburg, GA, a son and wife, Barry D. Coleman Violet of Vidalia, GA, a brother, Keylon Eugene Thompson of Albany, GA, six grandchildren, Marleene Cortez, Jenny Campa, Barry D. Coleman II, Searcy McClure, Stone McClure and Jessica Catherine Way, six great-grandchildren, Hunter Coleman, Whitley Coleman, Maria Cortez, Sophia Cortez, Selena Cortez and Carlos Cortez.

The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
