Mary Ann Cline, 77, of Albany, GA passed away, Monday, April 11, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Blakely City Cemetery, Blakely, GA.
After graduating from Early County High School, in Blakely, GA, Mary Ann found work at Southern Bell, in Albany, GA, as an operator. Upon living, for a short stint, in Rome, GA, she moved back to Albany and sunk roots. She had a son and a daughter, along with nine grandchildren, that she absolutely adored. The simplest pleasures in life brought the greatest joy to Mary Ann.
Her hobbies included sewing, antique collecting and especially gardening. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. She was a Christian and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, in Albany. Mary Ann eventually retired from Bell South. In years past, she survived four different types of life-threatening cancer, but finally succumb to more natural causes. Mary Ann was comforted and surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy, by living their lives to the fullest.
Survivors include a son, Grady L. (Butch) Burrell, III (Terri), Leesburg, GA, daughter, Lee Ann Griffin, Albany, GA, brother, Clarence Still, Blakely, GA, sister, Virginia Stanley (Don), Augusta, GA and grandchildren, Luke Griffin, Annalee Marsh, Drew Burrell, Levi Griffin, Bethany Burrell, Abigail Griffin, Lydia Griffin, Seth Griffin and Rueben Griffin
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
