Mary Ann Ayotte

Mary Ayotte was called home by our Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2022, she passed peacefully to join her husband Henry, family, and friends in heaven. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. Rev. Ray Levreault will officiate.  Interment to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Mary was from a large family, all hard-working brothers and sisters.  She enjoyed tending her flowers and she was unrivaled, yet humble about being an outstanding traditional Italian cook – and try as we may to emulate - we will all really miss her awesome cooking!  Though she retired some many years back from Hudson Pharmaceuticals, following in her “retirement” she regularly was treasured as a “nanny” for many local families and helped weekly in a church nursery.  She loved the many children she cared for who knew her simply as “Mrs. Mary,” and she treasured the many keepsakes, pictures, and cards they loved her with over those many years.

She leaves behind her two sons, and their wives that to her, she loved as her daughters, Ron Ayotte (Teresa) of Albany, GA and Frank Ayotte (Jacqueline) of Union, KY – all of whom will miss her loving hugs dearly, but none more so than her grandchildren, Samantha Shearer (Kyle), Barry Ayotte, Niko Ayotte, Tony Capitolo (Andrea), Lisa Bugbee (Daniel), Jerry Thompson, and great grandchildren, Jacob Thompson, Emily Barnes, Shane Thompson, Stephen and Landon Strickland,  all will forever be in her heart.
