Mary S. Albano

Mary S. Albano, 76, of Lee County, GA, died December 7, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Evans will officiate. A private interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery on Monday, December 11, 2017. A native of McCrae, GA, Mrs. Albano was raised and lived in Albany, GA most of her life before moving to Lee County, GA in 1996. She was a homemaker and was employed with Flint River Textile and J.C. Penny before her retirement. Mrs. Albano was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, David Lewis Ledford, a step-son, Joey Albano and her husband, Joseph Ralph Albano. Survivors include her daughter and her husband, Sherrie and Ricky Hunt of Lee County, GA, a step-son and his wife, Dean and Jeniffer Albano of Trenton, NJ, five grandchildren, D.J. Ledford and Kyle Ledford both of Covington, LA, Jessica (Robbie) Jones and Adam (Christina) Hunt both of Lee County, GA and Addie (Brian) Massey of Social Circle, GA, and two great grandchildren, Dawson Ledford and Lukas Adam Hunt.
