Marvin Cebren Hunt

Marvin Cebren Hunt, 70, of Byron, GA died Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Beacon Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Eubanks will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Born in Donalsonville, GA, Mr. Hunt had resided in Bryon, GA for the past twenty years. He was retired from Flour Daniels where he served as their welding inspector. He was a member of Beacon Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Cebren Green Hunt and Lucille Shiver Hunt, a brother James Willoughby Hunt and two sisters, Francis Hunter and Lynette Sheffield.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha Hutcheson Hunt, Byron, GA, children, Richard Hunt (Kelli), Albany, GA, Rusty Hunt (Peggy), Round-O, SC, Jeffrey White (Stephanie), Marshallville, GA, Misty Shook (Chad), Leesburg, GA, a sister, Margaret Lowery, Tallahassee, FL, eleven grandchildren, Jonathan Burris, Heather Burris, Kari Harper, Courtney Harper, Kristian Burnfin, Chase Gilliam, Cole Hopper, Madyson White, Dillion Jarrell, Kady White, Carter Miller, Alayna Hix, Ava Hix, Jackson Hix and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Burnfin and Owen Burnfin.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
