Martha Ann Beamon

Martha Ann Beamon, 68, of Albany, GA, died May 22, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Nixon will officiate. Interment will be held Wednesday at 12:00 noon at Andersonville National Cemetery.

A native of Jacksonville, FL, Mrs. Beamon was born to the late Alfred and Bronnie Mae Heck. She moved to Albany, GA when she was 18 years old and was employed as a waitress with the Quickie Restaurant in downtown Albany. She was also employed with the Huddle House on Oakridge Drive and Flash Foods. Mrs. Beamon enjoyed adult coloring books, arts and crafts and bingo.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Beamon, two daughters, Bobbie Hicks and Lisa Hicks Watson all of Albany, GA, a sister, Billie Jo Henderson of Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, five grandchildren, Beverly Hunt, Monica Borges Pacheco, Christopher King, Earl Watson, Jessica Mallard and Jami Raines and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Tuesday at Mathews Funeral Home.
