Marie Hagains Price, 87, originally of Albany, Ga and later of Midlothian, TX, died April 19, 2017 at Midlothian Nurse Care in Midlothian, Texas. Mathews Funeral Home is arranging Graveside funeral services to be held Monday at 2:00 PM at Andersonville National Cemetery where she will be buried with her late husband, Buford "Earl" Price.

A native of Baker County, GA, Mrs. Price was born to the late Ephraim and Elva Ree Hagains. She moved from Newton to Albany in 1944 and was a 1945 graduate of Albany High School.

Mrs. Price was married in Oglethorpe, GA in 1946 to the late Buford "Earl" Price. She was employed with Western Union for thirty-four years and later retired from HCA Palmyra Medical Center after twelve years.

Mrs. Price was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, where her mother, Elva Sanders Hagains was a charter member. Mrs. Price was also a member of The Loyal Order of The Moose. Mrs. Price moved to Texas in 2013 to be close to her daughter.

Survivors include her children, Vicki L. Lee and her husband, Johnny of Waxahachie, TX, Marcus Earl Price and his wife, Missy of Pauley's Island, SC and Joy M. Price-Pussilano of Irving, Tx.
Marie H. Price was preceeded in death by Lunnie and Evelyn Price, James and Ruth Price and Cecil and Jerri Price, J.T. and Ruby Price Tucker, Grover and Berlene Price Lambert and Luther and Meryl Price Robbins and a brother, Larry Harold Hagains.
Her grandchildren are Jennifer Lee White, Joel David Lee and his wife, Tammy, Jaclyn LeiAnn Lee Cooper and her husband, Jay; James Earl "Beau" Price; Erica Price Hardwick and her husband, Jeremy; Kevin Marcus Price; Haley Price Corrigan and her husband Kenneth; Joseph Matthew Capalbo, Adam Drew Capalbo and eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations in memory of Marie Hagains Price to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
