Maridean Montgomery Reynolds

Maridean Montgomery Reynolds, 85, of Dawson, died Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The family will hold a private service in her childhood church.

Born in Macon, to the late Sims Montgomery and Florine Moreland, Maridean grew up in Woodbury, GA. She, along with her late husband of 58 years, Richard, moved to Dawson in the mid-sixties. She worked with First Baptist Church of Dawson for 30 years and then beside her husband at Reynolds Realty and Appraisal for a number of years.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, visiting her cousins at family reunions, relaxing at the lake, and reading her Bible. Her sister, Margaret Fenner, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son Chris Reynolds (Gayle), daughter, VeAnn Reynolds Farr (Ed), grandchildren, Dallas Hazelrig (Russell), Jonathan Farr (Amanda), Davis Reynolds (Emilee), Marilauren Nelson (Robert), six great grandchildren, brother Jimmy Montgomery (Diane) and a host of other family members.
