Margaret Susanne Webb

Margaret Smith Webb, 65, of Albany, GA, passed away December 31, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside memorial services will be conducted at Andersonville national Cemetery at a later date. Margaret was born October 30, 1952 in Birmingham, AL, to the late John and Grace Smith. Margaret is also preceded in death by a brother Ricky Smith and her one and only love, Stevie Webb. Margaret attended Dougherty High School where she was a cheerleader. She also attended Albany Technical College and Darton College where she earned her nursing degree. Margaret was previously employed as a nurse with Albany Advocacy Resource Center. On September 23, 1970 she married her one and only love, Stevie, and together they had a daughter and a son. Margaret loved helping others, loved the beach, loved to read, but most of all, she loved her family. Margaret is survived by her daughter Kristy Webb (Jeff) Wood of Leesburg, GA, a son JR Webb of Albany, GA, three granddaughters Tyler Swift, Haylee Swift, both of Leesburg, GA, and Landon Webb of Fitzgerald, GA, two brothers John (Melanie) Smith of Cordele, GA, and Gary (Lisa) Smith of Albany, GA, two sisters Robin Massey of Leesburg, GA and Jennifer (Craig) Stone of Albany, GA, and many nieces and nephews.
