Margaret Ann Kirkland Simpson

Margaret Ann Kirkland Simpson, 77, of Leesburg, GA died Friday, December 4, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Cool Springs Baptist Church, Mitchell Co., GA with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Brother Ron Shiver will officiate.

Born in Dawson, GA, Mrs, Simpson was the daughter of the late Esker M. Kirkland and Myrtle Weems Kirkland and had resided in Leesburg, GA for the past ten years moving from Albany, GA. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.

Survivors include, two sons, Thomas Adams, Sr., Thomasville, GA, T.J. Adams, Baconton, GA, four daughters, Myra Ann Dykes, Moultrie, GA, Karen Boyd and Robin Mays both of Leesburg, GA, Ann Tabb of Colquitt, GA, three brothers, John Kirkland, Grand Ridge, FL, Sonny Kirkland, Tallapoosa, GA, Gary Kirkland, Albany, GA, three sisters, Liz Pelham, Albany, GA, Linda Goble, Hartsfield, GA and Glenda Harrell, Albany, GA, five grandchildren, Shanda Hurst, Wesley Dykes, Danny Mays, Billy Boyd, Hayley Boyd, Victoria Green, Cole Green and Ivanna Tabb, and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services at Cool Springs Baptist Church.
