Malcolm Burnsed, 79, of Lee County, GA, died Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at his home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Burnsed Family Farm, 131 Lu Mac Rd in Lee County, with visitation preceding the funeral service at noon, also at the Burnsed Family Farm. Rev. Jerry Baldree will officiate. A celebration of life and fish fry will also be held at the farm at noon on Saturday, December 8.

Born in Nashville, GA to the late Willie B. Burnsed and Alice Mae Griffin Burnsed, Malcolm graduated from Berrien County High School. He had lived in Albany since 1960 and Lee County since 1991. He owned and operated Burnsed Surveying Company since 1970 and he was proud of his life's work designing many of the subdivisions in Albany and the surrounding areas. Malcolm was a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #1285 and the Optimist Club. He was preceded in death by sisters, Flora Gaskins, Reba Davis, and Maxie Davis.

Survivors include his wife, Teri F. Burnsed, Lee County, GA, daughter, Kimberly Harrison and husband Larry, Lynn Haven, FL, sons, Keith Burnsed and wife Dotti, Tallahassee, FL, Robert Burnsed, Marianna, FL, step-daughters, Toni Doss and husband Robert, Allison Cauley and husband Ryan, Lee County, GA, grandchildren, Allison Burnsed and Laura Burnsed, both of Tallahassee, FL, McKenzi Doss, Leila Doss, Peyton Doss, and A.J. Doss, sisters, Margie Allen, Doris Baldree, Debbie Studdard, all of Tifton, GA, brothers, Maurice Burnsed and wife Barbara, Nashville, GA, Everett Burnsed and wife Ann, Lakeland, GA, Wendell Burnsed and wife Jean, Nashville, GA, numerous dear nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Larry Burnsed, Lee County, GA.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Phoebe Hospice, EMS at the corner of Philema and Grave Springs Road, and Dirty Harry Chimney Sweep of Leesburg, GA.
