Madeline Graham Yelverton, 69, of Leesburg, GA, formerly of Orlando, FL, won her battle with multiple sclerosis on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Phoebe North Medical Center. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Philema Road Baptist Church. Brother Dan Harris will officiate.
Born in Orlando, FL, Mrs. Yelverton had resided in Leesburg, GA for the past forty years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, trips to Biloxi, MS, shopping and surfing the internet. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Graham and Edna Brown Graham.
Survivors include her wonderful husband of fifty one years, Billy L. Yelverton, Sr., two sons, Billy Yelverton, Jr. (Sher), Troy Yelverton and a daughter, Tami Winborne (Brad) all of Leesburg, GA, a sister, Lyndia Akins (Ed), Statesboro, GA and five grandchildren, Ragan Wilkinson, Tana Yelverton, Grey Yelverton, Lacey Winborne and Brady Winborne all of Leesburg, GA.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 North Andrews Avenue, FT Lauderdale, FL, 33309.
The family will be at the residence of Brad and Tami Winborne, 123 Cobblefield Dr., Leesburg, GA and will also receive friends one hour prior to the services at Philema Road Baptist Church.
