Mack Calvin Tennille, 84, of Albany, GA, died Monday, March 11, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Beacon Baptist Church. Rev. Reagan Marsh will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A native of Leary, GA, born to Mack and Iva Lois Tennille, he had resided in Albany, GA since 1945. Mr. Tennille was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Army. He was formerly employed with Coats and Clark and retired from Ayers Corporation after fifteen years. Mr. Tennille was a Deacon and charter member of Beacon Baptist Church where he was a member of the Adult Men’s Sunday School Class.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Tennille of Albany, GA, two children, Quinton James Fellows and his wife, Diane Boyle and Elaine Courter and her husband, Stan all of Sumner, GA, six grandchildren, John Boyle IV of Winter Park, FL, Jason Fellows and Chris Fellows both of Minnesota, Michelle Deason of Arkansas, Kenneth Courter, IV and Robert Courter both of Acworth, GA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Tennille.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Mathews Funeral Home.
