Macel Daniel Mercer, 80, of Pelham, GA formerly of Albany, GA died Friday, June 5, 2015 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Tom Newman will officiate.

Born in Buena Vista, GA, Mrs. Daniel had resided in Albany, GA before moving to Pelham, GA. She was retired from J. C. Penney and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William L. Daniel, a son, William L. Daniel, Jr., a brother, Curtis Craig and two sisters, Evelyn Bentley and Wanda Hancock.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph David Mercer, Pelham, GA, two sons, Bobby Daniel (Mable), Albany, GA, Larry Daniel (Allison), Worth Co., GA, three step-sons, Mike Mercer (Liz), Erie, PA, Randal Mercer (Melissa), Pelham, GA, Daryl Mercer, Thomasville, GA, three step-daughters, Sherry Roberts (Joey), Norman Park, GA, Judy Lane (Joey), Monticello, GA, a sister, Vickie Williams (Pat), Lee Co., GA, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
