Mabel Lois Henry

Lois DeBary Henry, 86, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September, 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Doc Rufus Williams will officiate.

Mrs. Henry was a native and lifelong resident of Albany, GA, born to the late Fletcher and Estelle Dowling. She was a member of the Harvest Temple Church of God: she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Henry was a decorated inventory specialist at the Marine Corps Logistic Base before her retirement. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Gena DeBary of Albany, GA, two sisters, Verna Smith of Live Oak, FL and Janice Jenkins and her husband James of Leesburg, GA, two brothers, Curtis Dowling and his wife, Joann of Vero Beach, FL and Robert Dowling of Clearwater, FL, three grandchildren, Marcel DeBary of Smyna, GA, Neil DeBary and his wife, Meredith of Woodstock, GA and William H. DeBary of Marietta, GA and three great-granddaughters, Georgia DeBary, Taylor DeBary Simonette and Samantha DeBary Simonette.

She will be greatly missed by them all.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Mathews Funeral Home.

The family will be at the residence of Gena & Ron DeBary, 4410 Woodcrest Drive, Albany, GA, 31721.
