Lynda Marie Howell

Lynda Marie Howell, 63, of Albany, GA, died July 13, 2024 at her residence. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. 

Lynda was born in Dawson, GA on March 8, 1961 to Willie (Leon)and Rachel Lash. She grew up in Dawson, GA and graduated from Terrell Academy in 1979. Lynda was employed along with her sister for many years at Villager Cleaners. She was currently employed with The Federal State Inspection Service.

In October of 2005, Lynda met her future husband, Mark Howell at the US 19 Drag Way in Albany, GA.

She was proceeded in death by her father, Willie L. Lash and her mother Rachael Cook Jolly.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her dad Jerry Jolly of Graves, her children, Lacey Timbes, Lee Timbes, Blaire Morey and Brenee Morey, her grandchildren David Timbes, Skylee Timbes, Mikaela Timbes, Adison Timbes, Mykele Timbes, Brantly Timbes, Cheyanne Elizabeth Story and Benny Thomas Fountain,  her siblings Lynn Tabb, Lisa Page (Earl) and David Jolly and special friend Heather Di Leonardo.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her friends/nurses at the Phoebe Putney infusion/cancer center for their love and support over the last five years.
