Lynda Kay Brown Handley

Lynda Kay Brown Handley, 65, of Montezuma, GA., died Monday, March 4, 2013 at The Oaks Nursing Home in Marshallville, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 8, 2013 at 3:00 at the First Baptist Church of Montezuma. Dewitt Andrews and Rev. LaMon Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Felton Cemetery.

A native and lifelong resident of Montezuma, GA, Mrs. Handley was the owner/operator of Lynda's Coiffures and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Montezuma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Terrance Brown and Ruth Humphrey Brown and two sisters, Betty Jean Porch Bonner and Ruth Brown Nelson.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Handley, Montezuma, GA, two sons, Clarence (Joseph) Carney, III and Hulbert Terrance (Terry) Carney both of Montezuma, GA, a daughter, Paige Carney Sells and her husband Will, Albany, GA, a step-son, Thomas Handley, Jr., Carrollton, GA, a step- daughter, Stacey Hadden, Ellijay, GA, three grandchildren, Haley Sells, Lexi Ruth Sells and Katelyn Carney.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Montezuma.
