Lydia Castleberry

Mrs. Lydia " Betty " Castleberry, 74, of Leesburg, Ga. died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Willson Hospice House in Albany.

She requested no services to be conducted, but simply to honor her memory by reading Revelation 21:1-4.

Mrs. Castleberry was born November 4, 1937 in Bridgeboro, Ga. to the late Lonnie and Irene Trammell. She lived and worked in the Albany and Leesburg, Ga. area for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Castleberry.

Survivors include two children, Lonnie Mark Jacobs and his wife Laura of Cordele, Ga. and Karen Jacobs of Leesburg, Ga., three grandchildren, Timothy Hall, Matthew Hall, and Lonnie Mark Jacobs , Jr.; three step-children and six step- grandchildren.; three sisters, Tommie Branch, Libby Kennedy (J.L.), Myra Abel, and one brother, Terry Trammell (Linda).
