Louise Crook Middlebrooks

Louise Crook Middlebrooks, 86, of Albany, GA., passed away Friday January 8, 2016, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Melvin Slappey will officiate. Entombment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Born in Plains, GA., Mrs. Middlebrooks accompanied her husband for twenty years as he served his country in the Navy. After his retirement the couple settled in Albany where they have resided the past forty years. Mrs. Middlebrooks was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Survivors include her husband Jesse Middlebrooks of Albany, GA, a brother Billy (Janie) Crook, a sister Christine Harvey all of Americus, GA, Sisters-in-law Mary Ellen Wilkes of Byronville, GA, Wanda Middlebrooks of Byron, GA, Evelyn Middlebrooks of Montezuma, GA, Dot Crook and Barbara Crook both of Americus, GA, and Jeannette Crook of Dublin, GA, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
