Louise Rowe Marsh

Louise Rowe Marsh, 90 of Albany, died Friday, January 24, 2020 at Lee County Health and Rehabilitation. 

Her funeral service will be 10 AM Monday, January 27, 2020 at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Rev. Pete Daughtry will officiate.

Louise a loving wife and mother was born July 29, 1929 in Albany to  the late John Hill Rowe and  late Callie Barnes Rowe.  She married the love of her life the late Wendell Arthur Marsh on March 15, 1947.  She had a passion for God, her family and sports and was an active member of First Baptist Church of Albany for a number of years where she taught the three year old Sunday School Class.  As she continued to strengthen her faith she was lead to Albany Bible Church.

She was the family caretaker, often being relied upon to take care of others during their times of illness.  As a young girl, Louise enjoyed playing team sports, especially softball and volleyball.  Later in life, she continued her love of sports as a fan as her children, grandchildren played.  She also loved watching the Atlanta Braves.

The family would like to thank her faithful and wonderful caretakers, Edna Canty, Temeca Miller, Jamequa Skinner and Jada Hicks.

Survivors include her daughter, Dianne M. Strickland (Zack), Lee County, son Gary W. Marsh (Ursula) Fairborn, OH, granddaughters, Kelli S. Simmons (Michael) Lee County, Heather S. Bryant (Chris) Lee County, great granddaughters, Emma Lee and Harper Suzanne Bryant, brother Ron H. Rowe, Sr. (Patsy), Lee County, sister, Carol Mahoney, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Dorothy Glaser, Hawkinsville.
