Lou Ellen Stone

Lou Ellen Stone, 89, of Albany, GA passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 4, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery for both Mrs. Stone and her late husband, Robert E. Stone, Sr. who passed away in January 6, 2023 from Covid 19. Rev. Matt Stone will officiate.  

Mrs. Stone was born in Panama City, FL and moved to Albany, GA in the fifties, she was retired from AT&T with 34 years of service,  and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Wilson Gilbert and Lilla Shiver Gilbert, her husband, Robert Edward Stone, Sr., a son, Richard Douglas Stone, daughter-in-law, Nyoka Renea Stone, and siblings, Hazel Johnson, Tina Bryan, Trudy Greene, Houston Gilbert and Tony Gilbert.

Survivors include her children, Pam Coston (Gary), Leesburg, GA and  Ed Stone, Benton, TN.

All may come as casually dressed as possible.

In lieu of flowers those desiring may make a cake, pie or meal for anyone in need. or a good deed for someone.
