Lois Brown Yon

Lois Brown Yon, 76, of Lee County, died Wednesday, February 22, 2022 at the Willson Hospice House.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Mathews Funeral Home with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.

Born in Albany, Lois had lived here all of her life.  She was retired from Georgia Pacific and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.  She loved to crochet, work in her garden and playing with her puppies.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dora Kirkland Brown, grandmother Ollie Heath, nephew, Kevin Bradshaw and a niece Kim Pye.

Survivors include her son, Michael Kerce (Cindy), daughters, Rhonda Tyson (Glenn), Jamie Royal (Brad), grandchildren, Brittnie Tyson, Victoria Klubb, Devan Tyson, Teresa Deal, Stephen Kerce, Payton Royal, Dani Windows, eleven great grandchildren and her sister, Lorine Pye (Phil).
