Linda Thompson Smith

Linda T. Smith, 64, of Albany, GA, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at Covenant Presbyterian Church.  Dr. William D. “Biff” Coker will officiate.

Linda resided in the Albany area for many years. She was employed at the Hour Glass in optical sales until retirement. She attended Covenant Presbyterian Church, which she so much enjoyed . Linda loved spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies included cooking and fishing with Jimmy. Linda will be loved and missed more than words can express ! 

Survivors include her husband of nineteen years Jimmy Smith of Albany, GA,  two daughters Ginger (Gerald) Sledge of Sumner, GA, and Carrie (David) Tatum of Sharpsburg, GA, a son Lance (Michelle) Smith of Bainbridge, GA, three grandchildren Hannah Samoden, Preston Samoden, and Leah Smith, and a sister Geraldine Sealing of FL.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
