Linda J. Oliver

Linda Joyner Oliver, 70, of Lee County, GA, died Sunday, February 26, 2023 at The Willson Hospice House.  Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11:00 am at The Leesburg-Century Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness at 808 Liberty Expressway, Albany, GA, 31705.  Jesse Driskell will officiate.

Linda was born on August 2, 1952 in Fayetteville, GA to Franklin and Mary Joyner.  She grew up in Fayetteville and graduated from Fayette County High School.  While her children were still young, they moved to Macon, GA, where she was a substitute teacher.

Linda moved to Albany, GA in 1988 where she was employed with Bank of America for many years and moved to Lee County, GA in 2001.  She was a Jehovah’s Witness by faith and enjoyed crocheting, needle point, scuba diving, the beach, and hummingbirds.

Survivors include her husband, Danny F. Oliver of Lee County, GA, her children, Jennifer (Scott) Turner of Leesburg, GA, Craig (Amanda) Knowles of Snellville, GA, Danny Oliver of Albany, GA, Shanna (John) Horne of Moultrie, GA, Jason (Joy) Oliver of Tifton, GA and John Oliver of Albany, GA and her grandchildren, Cassie Turner, Seth Turner, Chase Knowles, Phineas Horne, Levi Horne, Georgia Oliver and Lou Oliver.
