Linda Everson Kidd

Linda Everson Kidd, 70, of Lee County, GA, died June 9, 2016 at Willson Hospice House. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 7:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Evangelist Gail Morrill will officiate.

A native of Camilla, GA, born to the late, A. D. Everson and Susie Blunt Everson, Linda grew up in Albany, GA. She graduated from Dougherty High School. Linda was a partner with her husband in Carpets of Albany before retiring after twenty years. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Ronald Everson, Larry Everson, Raymond (Smokie) Everson, five sisters, Mary Kressler, Martha Faulk Garrett, Marie Willingham, Alice Hornberger, and Nelda Choquette.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Kidd of Lee County, GA, a son, Keith Barfield of Oklahoma, her former daughter-in-law, Cathy Barfield, the mother of her two grandchildren, Matt Barfield and Clay Barfield, two sisters, Nancy Elberfeld and her husband, Ray of Sarasota, FL and Annette Patterson of Oklahoma, a brother, Harry Everson of Albany, GA, a step- daughter, Niki Ward and her husband Matt of Chicago, IL and two step-grandchildren, Layton Ward and Calder Ward. Survivors also include three sisters-in-law Ann Smith of Lee County, GA, Barbara Dezoort, and Janice Snow both of Chickamauga, GA.

The family will receive friends at 6:00 PM before the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
