Linda Gilmer Cook

Linda Gilmer Cook, 58, of Leesburg, GA., died Saturday August 25, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Dr. Ronald R. Baxley and Rev. Tom Pollock will officiate.

Mrs. Cook was born in Albany, GA. and had resided in Lee Co., GA. most of her life. She was employed with Sowega Chemical and Pool.

Survivors include her husband, J.W. Cook, a daughter and her husband, Leslie Michele Grimsley and Joey, a brother, Lee Gilmer, a sister, Ruth Bullock, four grandchildren, Ian Grimsley, Zoe Grimsley, Kyle Grimsley and Owen Grimsley all of Lee Co., GA., two uncles, Ray Watson, Gainesville, GA., Jimmy Watson, Virginia Beach, VA and an aunt, Mary Ryckeley of Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
