Linda Akridge Beckham

Linda Akridge Beckham, 59, of Albany, GA died Thursday April 23, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Allen Bingham will officiate. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Linda was born in Albany, GA and graduated from Westover High School in 1973. She was formerly employed with Joe Brashers Steel, she managed the Dodge Room and was employed with Alcon and Associates. She moved to Dothan, AL where she was the assistant manager of Fieldcrest Apartments for eight years and returned to Albany, GA in 2007. Linda was a member at First Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Todd Spindler and his wife, Nickie of Statesboro, GA and Blaine Beckham of Dothan, AL, her parents, Raymond and Blanche Akridge of Albany, GA, a sister, Brenda Cawley and her husband Ed of Albany, GA, two brothers, Ray Akridge, Jr. and his wife, Cathy and Ronald Akridge and his wife, Deborah all of Lee Co., GA, two granddaughters, Ila Spindler and McClary Spindler.

The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
