Linda Jean Batchelor

Linda Harris Batchelor, 66, of Leesburg, GA, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 am at Beacon Baptist Church.  Rev. Jim Eubanks will officiate.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Born in Albany, GA to the late Edward and Eula Harris, Linda was a caring, devoted, loving Wife, Mother, and Nana. She was the talented and creative owner of Linda’s Ceramics Shop for 25 years. She was of the Baptist faith and a lifelong member of Beacon Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Batchelor Sr., and a brother Douglas Harris.  Survivors include three daughters Connie Glosson (Mike) of Leesburg, GA, Jennifer Rios (Raymond) of Arrington, AL, Kayla Batchelor of Albany, GA, a son Bobby Batchelor Jr. (Christy) of Albany, GA, Grandchildren Ryan Plante, Chelsea Plante, Candace Batchelor, and Shelby Batchelor, two great-grandchildren LeighAnn Prince and Journey Prince, and a sister Martha Jesup (Brooks) of St. Simons, GA.
