Linda M. Akridge

Linda M. Akridge, 71, of Acworth, GA, died April 30, 2014 at her residence. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, May, 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Mike Maxwell will officiate.

Born in Ashburn, GA, to the late Roy and Luthera Mitchell, Sr. Mrs. Akridge grew up in Albany, GA and graduated from Albany High School She had resided in Safety Harbor, FL before moving to Acworth, GA in 1997. She worked as a Loan Manager with SunTrust Bank and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Mrs. Akridge was preceded in death by her husband David Clyde Akridge, Sr.

Survivors include two sons, David C. Akridge of Clearwater, FL and Mark Travis Akridge of Safety Harbor, FL, a brother, Sonny Mitchell and his wife, Sharon of Dallas, TX, two sisters, Vickie Richardson and her husband, Larry of Augusta, GA and Ann Skinner of Austin, AK, grandchildren, Christie Lynn Nolan and her husband, Roy of Phoenix, AZ, Jacob Michael Akridge of Clearwater, FL, Hannah Marie Akridge, and Jessica Akridge of all Safety Harbor, and two great-grandchildren, Hunter Nolan of Augusta, GA and Derek Nolan of Phoenix, AZ.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
