Lillian Pearl Kimbrell

Lillian Pearl Kimbrell, 106, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Allen Bingham will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Born in Toccoa, GA on August 4, 1912 to William Jacob Carver and Margaret Jamerson Carver, Mrs. Kimbrell married Milton Kimbrell in 1945 and moved to Albany in the early 1970’s. She worked making a loving home for her family and was a member of Life Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Archie Daniel Wingate, Jr., and Dolphus B. Wingate.

Survivors include her son and his wife, Doug and Mary Wingate of Albany, GA and their children, Brenda W. Notermann and Richard Allen Wingate both of Atlanta, GA, her daughter-in-law, Judy Wingate of Asheville, NC, fifteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
