Levon (Bubba) Willingham

Levon (Bubba) Willingham, 81, of Albany, GA, died March 28, 2017 at Willson Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Funston Cemetery in Funston, GA. Rev. Henry Kennedy will officiate.

A native of Camilla, GA born to the late Julius and Hattie Willingham, Mr. Willingham grew up in Mitchell County and moved to Albany, GA from Colquitt County in 1960. He was employed with Coats and Clark, retiring in 1985 and retired from Nut Tree Pecan Co. in 1992. Mr. Willingham was a member of Liberty Parkway Church of God. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty three years, Essie Lavern Willingham, a brother, Lamar Willingham and three sisters, Laverne Willingham, Mary Nelms and Shirley Weaver.

Survivors include two daughters, Penny (Shane) Neeld of Baconton, GA and Tracy (Mark) Rowe of Albany, GA and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
