Lena N. Stripling

Lena H. Stripling, 93, of Albany, GA, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Palmyra Nursing Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Crisp Co., GA. Rev. Ken Chancellor will officiate.

A native of Cordele, GA, Mrs. Stripling had resided in Albany, GA for the past fifty eight years. She was a home maker and a member of Mercedes Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Lee Stripling, a daughter, Constance Diane Dorough, two sons, Curtis Lee Stripling, Jr., Roger Neal Stripling and a grandson, Greg Stripling.

Survivors include three grandsons, Curt Etheridge, Leesburg, GA, Chris Etheridge, Panama City, FL, Mark Stripling, Stokesdale, NC, two granddaughters, Terri Stripling Owens, Rocky Ridge, MD, Pam Stripling Barfield, Leesburg, GA, a sister, Joan McDowell, Warner Robins, GA and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family is at the residence of Curt and Kelly Etheridge, 112 Evergreen Ct., Leesburg, GA, 31763.
