Lee Andrew Davis

Lee Andrew Davis, of Albany, GA, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Willson Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye, Mr. Harry Bryant, and Mr. Glenn Zern will officiate.

Mr. Davis was a lifelong resident of Albany. He was a graduate of Dougherty High School in 1976. Lee served four years in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged as an E5. Mr. Davis was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert Davis Sr. and Juanita Davis.

Survivors include his son, Ben Davis of Leesburg, GA, three brothers Hubert Davis Jr., (Penny) of Brooksville, GA., Paul Davis (Trish) of Albany, GA., Rex Davis (Sydney) of Randolph County, two sisters Brenda Carter (Dan) of Fredericksburg, VA., Linda DuBose (Don) of Creedmore N.C., two grandchildren Gage Davis and Alexis Davis, many nieces and nephews, and his most faithful companion "Brick".

The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers include Glenn Zuern, Scott Nichols, Dean Williams, Kenny Nichols, and Donnie Howell.
