Lawrence "Larry" Joseph Dupell, III

Lawrence J. “Larry” Dupell, III, 78, of Albany, GA, passed away January 6, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 15, 2019 at River Pointe Golf Club.

Larry was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 21, 1940 to the late Lawrence J. and Margaret T. Dupell, Jr., graduating from St. Thomas Moore High School. He joined the United States Navy in 1959 and served two tours in Vietnam with the Seabee’s. He moved to Albany, GA in the 1980’s from Charleston, SC and was employed with the Marine Corps Logistic Base in the Commissary. Larry was a Master Mason and a Shriner. He was also a member of River Pointe Golf Club and a member of the American Legion Post # 30. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margaret Churn.

Survivors include three sisters, Catherine Cirillo of Havertown, PA, Bernadette Whitaker of Philadelphia, PA and Christine Madden and her husband John of Havertown, PA.
