Lavern Goodwin Letchworth

Lavern Goodwin Letchworth, 93, of Leesburg, GA passed away, Saturday, July 8, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her daughters. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Mark Spraggins will officiate.

Mrs. Letchworth was born in Albany, GA to the late Roy and Ethel Goodwin, She was a homemaker and her favorite hobbies were reading, crocheting and she had a love for flowers and dishes. She loved spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Letchworth was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Letchworth, her son-in-law, Phil Anderson, great-granddaughter, Danielle Anderson and her brother, Bruce Goodwin.

Survivors include her daughters, Camille Anderson, Cuthbert, GA, Angela Watkins (Gary), Lincolnton, GA, Lisa Cannon (Tommy), Leesburg, GA, brother, Warner Goodwin (Dorothy), Putney, GA, grandchildren, Phillip Anderson, Jr., Jamey Anderson, Joel Anderson, Gary Lee Watkins, Jr., Holly Wyatt, Nichole Bentley, Nicholas Cannon, nineteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
