Laura Kay Stewart Simmons Musgrove

Laura Kay Stewart Simmons Musgrove, 65 , of Hoschton, GA  formerly Albany, GA  passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Northweast GA Medical Hospital in Braselton, GA. 

Born in Albany, GA, Kay was educated in the Dougherty County School System and graduated from Darton Junior College. Her career was in insurance coverage and was the owner of Simmons Insurance Agency, Dacula, GA. Her husband, Jerry Musgrove died three days after her, and was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Grady Stewart, Jr. and Evelyn White Stewart, a sister, Donna Scozzari, the father of her children, Harry H. Simmons II.

Survivors include her sons, Harry H. Simmons, III (Genevieve), Swanee, GA, Kyle Simmons (Antje), Germany, grandchildren, Charlotte, Elize, Jasper, sister, Janice Dollar Bentley, Albany, GA, nieces, Stephanie Najjar, Mason Davis, nephew, Jeremy Dollar, great-nephews, Aiden Dollar, Clayton Davis, Oliver Najjar and Alex Najjar.

The combined funeral for Jerry and Kay will be held on 11:00 am, Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Mathews Funeral Home in Albany, GA.
