Laura Worsham Butler

Laura Worsham Butler, 91, of Albany, GA, died December 28, 2016 at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Butterworth will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Mitchell County, GA, born to the late Jack and Lillie Worsham, Mrs. Butler had lived in Albany, GA for the past fifty nine years. She was retired from the Lee Manufacturing Company in Leesburg, GA and was employed with RCM after she retired. Mrs. Butler was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Eugene Butler four sisters, four brothers, and four son-in-laws.

Survivors include five daughters, Linda Ann Jenkins, Laura Eugenia Harrington and Patsy Ann Farr all of Albany, GA, Christine Holland (Randy) and Cindy Gail Sceals all of Lee Co, GA, a sister, Emma Jean Sanders of Keystone Heights, FL, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday at Mathews Funeral Home. The family will be at the residence of Linda Jenkins, 2306-A Tuxedo Lane, Albany, GA 31707.
