Laura Steadham Beckum

Laura Steadham Beckum, 65, of Dawson, GA, died December 7, 2023 at the Willson Hospice House in Albany.  Funeral services will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at The First Baptist Church of Dawson with interment to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Rev. Currie Spoon will officiate.

Laura was born in Dawson, GA on June 28, 1958 to the late Marvin and Margaret Steadham.  She graduated from Terrell Academy in 1976 and was employed with The Bank of Terrell for over thirty years.  Laura was a member of The First Baptist Church of Dawson, she enjoyed the outdoors, working in her yard, watching her grandchildren, being at the farm and was an avid reader.

Survivors include her children, Lauren (Trey) Aldridge of Lynn Haven, FL and Tyler (Kayla) Beckum of Dawson, GA, her sister, Donna (Bill) Ford of Albany, GA and her grandchildren, Emma Aldridge, Mason Aldridge and Brooklyn Beckum.

The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at The First Baptist Church of Dawson.
