Latrelle Law Lane

Latrelle Law Lane, 81, of Albany, GA died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Lane had resided in Albany, GA for the past sixty years moving from Montezuma, GA. She was a graduate of Montezuma High School and had been active with the Albany Elks Lodge # 713 and the Sears Retiree Group. She was a devoted mother to her special son, a retired florist with Beth's Flowers and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Clinton Law and Eva Louise Williams Law, a brother, Leonard (Sonny) Law and her husband Lloyd Lane.

Survivors include a son, Alton Lane, Albany, GA, three daughters, Sheryl Lane Phillips and her husband Tommy, Moultrie, GA, Mary Lane Newell and her husband Mike, Albany, GA, Sonia Lane Middlebrooks, Marietta, GA, a sister, Inez Law Ledden, Albany, GA, five grandchildren, Brian Middlebrooks, Drew Middlebrooks and his wife Amanda, Diane Middlebrooks and her husband Chris Collett, Matthew Peters and his wife Chelsey and Allison Peters.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
