Larry Ward Curtis, Jr

Larry Ward Curtis, Jr., 49, of Terrell County, GA., died Saturday, September 24, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. Dr. Todd Sullens and Rev. Bobby Harrell will officiate.

A native of Heidelberg, Germany, Mr. Curtis had resided in Dawson, GA for twenty years moving from Leesburg, GA. Larry graduated from Lee County High School in 1985 and later attended Albany Technical College, where he received a degree in welding. Mr. Curtis was employed with Lee County Manufacturing, then Flint River Textile, then medically retired from Dougherty County Public Works. Larry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. He was preceded in death by his father Larry Ward Curtis, Sr. and his brother, James Wesley Curtis.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Olene Curtis of Leesburg, GA., two sisters, Wanda Solomon and her husband Daniel of Leesburg, GA and Wendy Montgomery and her husband Brandon of Sylvester, GA, a niece, Elizabeth Montgomery, a nephew, Emerson Montgomery, and a number of aunts.
