Larry Francis Braun

Larry F. Braun, 74, of Albany, GA died April 28, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Jay Weldon will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and at home.

A native of Springfield, Ohio, Mr. Braun graduated from Springfield High School and attended Wittenberg University. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Okinawa, Korea and Albany. Mr. Braun was employed with First Federal Savings and Loan as a Mortgage Lender for eighteen years and was a member of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church and Doublegate Country Club.

Survivors include his wife, Jane W. Braun of Albany, GA, a son, Michael Scott Braun of Lee County, GA, a daughter, Karla Lorraine Braun and a grandson, Zachary Braun both of Hartsfield, GA and a sister, Sue Hupp of Virginia Beach, VA.

A private interment service will follow
