Larry Wade Bass

Larry Wade Bass, 71, of Lee County died Monday, April 22, 2019 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.

His funeral service will be Thursday 2 PM at Leslie Cemetery in Leslie, GA.  Rev. Jimmy Griffin will officiate.

A native of Leslie, Mr. Bass owned and operated different automotive businesses in the area including Sumter Tire and Battery and several car lots in Albany the last being Smart Cars, Etc.

He was preceded in death by his parents Neon and Jane Bass and a granddaughter Morgan Bass.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Bass, Lee County, son Trampas Bass, Albany, daughter, Sarah Smith (Joey), Centerton, AR, grandchildren, Peyton Bass, Jarret Smith, Ethan Smith and Jaiden Smith, brother, Earl Bass, Jr. and sister, Jan Marie Bass of Leslie.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
