Lareva Ann Warrington

Lareva Ann Warrington, 80, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at The Phoenix of Albany. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. William Collins and Rev. Ed Loy will officiate. Mrs. Warrington was a native of Georgetown, KY and had resided in Albany, GA for the past forty two years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and was loved by all. She served as an executive secretary to MOCB for many years and was also dedicated to her community. She was a kind, selfless women who always put others first. Mrs. Warrington was a volunteer at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, worked with Meals on Wheels, was a devoted member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church where she was involved with United Methodist Women and was a member of the Albany Garden Club. Survivors include her husband, Jon Michael Warrington, a son, Jon Michael Warrington, II (Stacey) all of Albany, GA, a daughter, Patti Warrington Long (Michael), Minneapolis, MN, two brothers, Gene Vallandingham and Bill Vallandingham both of Sacramento, CA, five grandchildren, Amelia Warrington, Mary Warrington, Burke Hardin, Virginia Warrington and Hudson Hardin and special caregivers, Dana and Barbara. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral in the parlor at Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church.
