Klara George

The memorial service of Klara George, 76, of 2853 Shady Road, Baconton, GA who died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Albany Health Care will be conducted Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Russell Anglin will officiate.

A native of Augsburg, Germany, Mrs. George had resided in Baconton, GA since 1996 moving from Albany, GA. She was a retired clerk at Kmart and was a member of Raleigh White Baptist Church. Mrs. George was preceded in death by her husband, Chesley Irvin George, Sr., her parents, Johann Paulus Lingenhol and Klara Mathilde Lingenhol.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra Brown and her husband Thurman and Janie Brooks all of Baconton, GA, two sons, Chesley George, Jr. and his wife Jonece of Macon, GA and Richard George of Jacksonville, FL, a brother, Paul Lingenhol and a sister Margot Kastl both of Germany. Five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
